1) Not supporting cables under a drop ceiling.

2) Not drilling holes through basement floor joist when the ceiling in unfinished.

3) Using the wrong size wire.

4) Not making sure the connection is tight.

5) Not using the proper electrical box for the job, or using a box that is too small for the amount of conductors.

6) Putting too much on a single circuit.

7) Using the wrong size circuit breaker.

8 ) Not using the proper connector to enter a box or panel.

9) Not grounding a metal box.

10) Incorrect GFCI wiring.
