adding a new breaker for in floor heating

My electrician i hired started the job but never came back to finish plus I made a mistake on purchasing the in floor heating kit.
I had him wire a new line for the floor . There is 2 kit's available to purchase from this manufacturer a 110 and 220. I had the electrician put a new wire in for 220.after installing the floor and starting installing the thermostat I realized I have the wrong wiring.
Lucky for me that the breaker was never installed. Can I use the heavier gage wire and only use one black wire and install a 110 breaker
thanks

Yes you can, using a larger wire than is needed is ok and it will work fine on a single pole breaker. Just make sure you have the correct size breaker for the floor heat and wire it all correctly and you should be fine.
