I bought an adapter that will let me use a bluetooth headset with a landline telephone. Problem is, the connector my Cisco IP Phone 7960 series is expecting is a 4P4C, but the connectors on the bluetooth adapter are 6P2C.

Is it possible to wire these togethor? How would I do it, are there any diagrams online? I'm just a tinkerer with connecting wires, but if its possible I should be able to figure it out with some guidance.

First I would make sure the headset in compatible with the phone, as for the RJ connectors, as long as you make them with straight through wiring the same colors on the same pins on each end it is just a pass through and as long as you have enough conductors to complete the job you’re in business.
