This worked before I moved everything into a different room.  This is what I want, and what I had before:  A really good computer with tv tuner card.  Cable tv antenna attached to the Input of a 4 way splitter.  From splitter, a coax cable to tv.  From splitter, a coax cable to computer.  Simple.  The tv is old, with only one co-ax cable connection in the rear.  I used to be able to watch tv, and record another show onto an external hard drive.  Or, whatch tv on a second monitor.  Now, the cable connection to the computer is causing static, disrupting the main monitors signal, causing a humming noise plus wavy lines.  What happened?  Do I need a new splitter?  A new cable?  Both monitors are 19 inch LCD's.  Currently, the second monitor is not attached, but will soon be.  Any thoughts?  Suggestions?  Ideas?  Questions?

Look for anything that changed after the move, if it worked before it should still work if it is connected the same way. Maybe there is a loose connection or a loose connector on the cable.
