I am remodeling my home and I would like to hook up my family room lights with a switch on opposite ends of the room. One of the switches will be a 3way dimmer and the other will be a regular 3way switch.  Those 2 switches will be controlling multiple lights. I have found some information on hooking up similar set ups but nothing that addresses this exact set up. If someone could direct me to a schematic or drawing of this set up I would appreciate it.

You wire it the same way as the diagram on this page.

The 3-way dimmer switch should come with a diagram for the proper connections.

Ok. I was worried I was going to have to do something like the first diagram on this page. http://www.do-it-yourself-help.com/wiring_diagrams_3_way_multiple.html

So if I wire it like the diagram you posted do I run the multiple lights in series using 2 wire cable?
